Miya Butler

President

Hi everyone! My name is Miya Butler and I am the current President of Epsilon Xi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma. As the chapter’s President I serve as the executive officer of the chapter and I am responsible for its operation. I encourage teamwork to achieve chapter goals and understand the chapter’s relationship with the Advisory Board, House Board, the Fraternity, the campus, and the community. I'm a third-year, majoring in Political Science with an emphasis on Law & Society. Other amazing organizations I've been a part of are; New Student Orientation, Associated Students, and the Pre-Law Association. I joined Kappa in the Fall of 2018, and have been honored to have been able to call each woman in this house, a sister.

Sierra Johnson

Vice President Standards

My name is Sierra Johnson, and I joined Kappa Fall '18! As Vice President, Standards, I get to play my role by amplifying our sisterhood through different events, and activities throughout the year! I see that all of our members are living up to the standards that we have as Kappa women, and I act as a direct resource for any members with questions or concerns regarding the chapter or within their personal lives! I am currently a Junior majoring in Television Production, with an emphasis in Documentary Production! Along with this I have a double Minor in Popular Culture Studies and Theatre (Acting/Directing)! Over the past three years Kappa has given me many opportunities for leadership, and introduced me to some of the most amazing women I have ever met!

Taylor Berberich

Vice President Organization

My name is Taylor Berberich and I’m the Vice President of Organizations. My main responsibilities include managing committees, creating the yearly calendar, and training the newly elected officers. Outside of Kappa, I love watching movies, going to concerts, and getting boba. I’m majoring in Film Production and minoring in Interactive Marketing!

Miranda Kinder

Vice President Academic Excellence

My name is Miranda Kinder and I am Kappa’s Vice President of Academic Excellence! My role as VPAE is to ensure that everyone is meeting their academic goals, providing academic resources on campus, and keeping academics as our main priority. Outside of Kappa, I love to go on road trips, snowboard, watch New Girl, and take cute pics! I am currently a Marketing major and want to pursue social media marketing coming out of college!

Rebecca Rancourt

Secretary

Hi! My name is Rebecca Rancourt and I am the Secretary! As Kappa’s Secretary, I serve as the record-keeper for the chapter. I take minutes for both chapter and Chapter Council meetings and coordinate the revision of the chapter Bylaws and Standing Rules. I maintain the chapter roster and officer roster and manage internal chapter communication through OmegaOne. I joined Kappa during my sophomore year in fall ‘19. I am a junior studying Radiologic Sciences. Since I have joined Kappa, it has allowed me to meet some really great people and have life long skills.

Diana Marcial

Treasurer

Hi! My name is Diana Marcial and I am the Treasurer! The chapter Treasurer is responsible for educating chapter members about financial responsibilities, making them aware of chapter expenses and explaining the purpose of their fees. As the chapter’s Treasurer I prepare and maintain the chapter budget. I track all member balances (Accounts Receivable) and disburses all fees to Fraternity Headquarters and House Board. The chapter Treasurer also compiles annual budget reports. I’m currently a junior majoring in finance and minoring in marketing. I joined Kappa in Fall 20’ and couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of such an amazing group of women! Kappa has brought me some of my best friends and allowed me to make memories that I will forever cherish.

Valeria Molina

Marshal

Hi! My name is Valeria Molina, and I joined Kappa as a Fall’19. As Marshal, my job is to educate our chapter on ritual, preserve chapter archives, and maintain records of the chapters success and milestones. I’m currently a sophomore majoring in Cinema Television Arts: Entertainment Media Management. I absolutely love concerts, playing tennis, and going on spontaneous adventures! Kappa has brought me so many friends for life, as well as some of my biggest mentors.

Natalie Rajabi

Education Chairman

Hi! My name is Natalie Rajabi and I am your Education Chairwoman. As Education Chair, my job is to facilitate the senior experience, organize programming meetings, and keep up with Kappas abroad! I’m very excited to get to know you all and help educate Epsilon Xi with interesting programming events! I joined Kappa my first semester of college, Fall 18. As cheesy as it sounds, it really was one of the best decisions and blessings in my life. I am currently a Junior majoring in Biology and plan to go to medical school after undergrad. Some things I enjoy doing for fun are martial arts, hiking, traveling, and cooking!

Lindsey Bartlett

Events Chairman

Hi! My name is Lindsey and I’m the Events Chairman. Some of my responsibilities as Events is planning exchanges with other organizations on campus, Kappa formals & date parties and other fun social events. I’m currently a sophomore and majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics. Some extra facts about me is I’m a huge beach-goer, a big thrifter and I pretty much love all kinds of music and going to concerts/music festivals. I’m a Fall ‘19 and I have cherished everything Kappa has brought me, including sisterhood, leadership and independence.

Katherine Mena

House Chairman

Hi! My name is Kat, I’m the current House Chairman for Epsilon Xi. The House Chairman fosters a sense of community, safety and sisterhood for all members. The House Chairman maintains positive relationships among the chapter and House Board. I am responsible for seeing that the house rules and regulations regarding the maintenance and use of the chapter facility are carried out, guaranteeing the facility is used wisely and is a safe haven for every member. I’m going into my fourth year in Kappa and I’m super excited! I’m currently an English, Creative Writing major and Religious Studies minor. I’m planning on attending veterinary school to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in Texas.

Membership Chairman

Hi! My name is Julia Ross and I’m your Membership chair for Epsilon Xi chapter. As the Membership Chairman I plan and coordinate all activities related to Membership Recruitment. I ensure that the chapter recruits and pledges high quality women.

New Member Chairman

Brittney Martinez

Hi! My name is Brittney Martinez. My main responsibility is to provide a period of orientation, preparation and education prior to Initiation to ensure that each new member has a desire to fulfill the initiation requirements in preparation for active membership and will live out the values of the Fraternity. I also plan Bid day, New Member Retreat, and Presents/Parents Day. When I transferred to CSUN, I joined Kappa in Fall 19’. I’m currently a junior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Child Development.

Jayme Ota

Panhellenic Delegate

Hi! My name is Jayme Ota and I joined Kappa as a Fall '20. As the Panhellenic Delegate, my job is communicating with other sororities and fraternities on campus to ensure the best Greek life experience. I'm currently a Communicative Disorders major, with an emphasis in Speech Pathology. I am minoring as well in Child and Adolescent Development. Kappa has provided me with friendships for life and leadership opportunities.

Aubry Graham

Philanthropy Chairman

Hi! My name is Aubry Graham. I am overjoyed to be the Philanthropy Chairman for the 2021 year! Philanthropy is an effort or act of goodwill to help others by performing a direct service to people or organizations in the community or by raising money for a worthy cause. As the Philanthropy Chairman I foster an appreciation and understanding of the mission and programs of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation. I also coordinate chapter efforts to support Reading Is Fundamental, the community, and the campus. I am currently a Junior majoring in Public Health and I have previously earned an AA in Child Development as well as an AA in General Studies- Social and Behavioral Sciences. I joined Kappa in Fall 2020 and already have so many amazing memories with my sisters!

Z Barba

Public Relations Chairman

Hello! My name is Z Barba and I joined the house as a Fall ‘20! I’m currently the Public Relations Chairman which means I promote good relations with the chapter’s publics, project the chapter’s positive reputation by evaluating chapter activities, and educate the chapter about the importance of positive public relations. I am a first year at CSUN and a Kinesiology major! Kappa has brought me so much joy and has truly turned into my second family. I’ve made so many genuine connections and relationships due to Kappa and this chapter has impacted me so much.
